As revealed by the previous aeroplane post, I have just come back from a vacation in the capital of Germany – Berlin. After having gone through the images from the trip, I decided to split them into three (well, four, counting the ones from the air). Here is part one, starting off with the obligatory images from the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. All set in monochrome, as I saw fit.
The issue with travel photography is really that of not letting it take away from the experience of being on vacation itself. I did my best shooting in bursts and in specific, focused times. While I did feel it was all but optimal for capturing great images, I’m positive it enhanced the experience of actually being there.
Part two will be up for presentation around the corner.
